Horris Hill Theatre Appeal
Summer Sizzlers Cookery Demonstration
Friday 7th June
Current parent Gee Cartwright and Horris Hill invites you to a cookery demonstration to raise funds for the theatre at Horris Hill.
This will be a fun morning of celebrating summer with sizzling summer recipes from fresh salads, sharing platters, BBQ ideas and fruity puds with the focus on al fresco dining ideas. We will make the most of using fresh seasonal produce to create stunning summer dishes to share with family and friends. As usual the demos will be run in a relaxed and friendly way with the opportunity to ask lots of questions and plenty of time for tasting. Top tips are given on preparing ahead, freezing and sourcing ingredients. Come and enjoy a cookery demo, ideas packed full of flavour that look and taste great.

Horris Hill has sat in the parish of Newtown Common for over 130 years. Horris Hill is ever conscious of the privilege and responsibility that comes with that. It knows that children and young adults who are accustomed to standing in front of an audience develop empathy, inner strength and self-confidence which last a lifetime. It believes a purpose built theatre will be of enormous benefit not only to the school but also to many of the local associations and charities for whom building confidence in a safe and creative environment is of vital importance. The degree of interest from a wide variety of organisations in using this space is testament to its need.
Gee has kindly agreed to run a cookery course to assist this enterprise and I hope that you can join us for what promises to be a fun morning while raising funds.
