Terms & Conditions
The service to you is a demonstration of recipes, and the tasting of these dishes at the end of each cookery session. The demonstrations will take place at Mayfield House, Houghton or the advertised premise (‘the premises’) and commence promptly at 10.30a.m. or the advertised time lasting approximately 2 ½ hours. Prior to the demonstration we offer refreshments.
The price we quote to you includes all food ingredients and demonstration services provided at the premises on the agreed date of the demonstration.
Provisional bookings can be made online, by telephone or e-mail, and will be confirmed once payment has been received in full. All cookery demonstration payments must be made at least four weeks in advance.
FEES & PAYMENT
All fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. We accept payment of fees by PayPal, Credit or Debit card. If you wish to pay fees by bank transfer, please contact us for our bank details. We do accept cash if received according to our booking terms. Receipts are available upon request.
If you wish to cancel your confirmed booking, you will be liable for full payment unless an alternative booking can be agreed. If for any reason you need to change your booking you may, at my discretion, change to the next available demonstration if there are spaces.
Please see COVID-19 for its cancellation policy.
We may cancel the booking at any time by letter or email if:
1. You do not make any payment to us when it is due
2. You do not attend the demonstration (other than following the permitted cancellation as set out above)
3. Your behaviour does not confirm to the rules and procedures of Gee Cartwright Cookery
4. At any time (including on booking) you provide us with information which is inaccurate, incomplete or misleading or fail to provide us with information on request which may affect your ability to attend the demonstration
5. During the course you develop a medical condition or take medication which is a barrier to learning and in order to make the necessary adjustments to safely accommodate you on the demonstration would have to insure additional time and expenses which are unreasonable.
If the booking is cancelled as set out above, we will not be required to refund the fees paid by you.
At the time of booking, please inform us of anything that may affect your enjoyment of the day, particularly allergies. Whilst we are unable to tailor our demonstrations to special dietary requirements, unless you are booking a private group, we will make every attempt to accommodate these specifications as often as possible.
We accept no liability for personal injury, or any loss of, or damage to, personal property.
We reserve the right to ask any person to leave, without reimbursement of demonstration fees, if their behaviour is unsafe or unreasonable in any way.
These recipes have been created exclusively by Gee Cartwright Cookery and are not, under any circumstances, available for resale.
Gift vouchers are available to purchase and will be valid for one year from date of issue.
DATA PROTECTION AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
